When I go to load any page that has flash on it, it will say I need additional plug ins to few this page. I download Adobe Flash Player and restart firefox and nothing happens.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to a web page that has a flash object

Actual Results:  
The object didn't load and said I needed to install plug ins.

If you click Tools -> Options -> Add-ons -> Plug-ins, do you see "Shockwave Flash" in the list?

Yes Shockwave Flash is there

check the version of installed flash: http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/

Is javascript enabled? check communication: 

http://www.adobe.com/support/flash/ts/documents/java_script_comm/javascript_to_flash.html

Do you use adblock or flash blocking addons?

Yes Javascript is enabled and yes I do use adblock.

Flash is a problem for me as well, since ages, but not on all sites. I have performed both tests in comment #3 and JS communicates with Flash, and...

"You have version 10,0,22,87 installed"

What I could never see in Firefox - for example - is Open Flash Chart v2:

My Adblock is disabled.

This is a mass search for Firefox General bugs filed against version 3.0 that are UNCO and have not been changed for 200 days.

Reporter, please update to Firefox 3.6.10 or alter. Firefox 3.0 is no longer supported and is no longer receiving updates. After you update, please create a fresh profile, http://support.mozilla.com/kb/managing+profiles, and test to see if your bug still exists. If you still the bug, then please post a comment with the version you tested against, and the problem. If the issue is no longer there, please set the RESOLUTION to  RESOLVED, WORKSFORME.

No reply from reporter, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.12 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
