User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.10) Gecko/2009042316 Firefox/3.0.10 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.10) Gecko/2009042316 Firefox/3.0.10 There is no way right now to not allow one add-on to change setting of another add-on. Recent noScript vs ABP debacle for example. This is not safe as some one can enter dark side and will make browser more vulnerable ultimately. Hence I am calling it a bug on Browser even if it is really feature. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.NA 2. 3.

Add-ons are by design allowed to do anything. This is not something we can really change without losing the power that they have.

Addons can not only modify other addons, they could for example delete files on your hdd. An Addon is like an application that you install on your system. Would you call it a windows bug if you install an application and this application modifies some settings from other applications ? verified wontfix.
