I get this the first time I open the Bookmarks menu:

Warning: reference to undefined property this._self._result
Source File: chrome://browser/content/places/menu.xml
Line: 670
Attached patch patch v1.0Splinter Review
defining _result field should fix this.

This bug still exist with Firefox 3.5 RC3 - Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1) Gecko/20090624 Firefox/3.5

Sorry for this basic question , but, is it RESOLVED FIXED for Firefox 3.5 or for the next version ?

And there is a very similar one with toolbar.xml:
- open Firefox or a new main window
- open any page
- bookmark this page into the Bookmark Toolbar

bug 501094
btw this bug is fixed on trunk, not on 3.5 branch.
Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h".

In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows:
Tools | Message Filters
Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New"
Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h
Change the action to "Delete Message".
Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top.
Click OK.

Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter.
