My firefox is in System Tray and I don't use it. The first tab is gmail and generaly I don t have a second tab.

I have problem to send automatic crash report

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open FireFox
2. First Tab: gmail
3. Reduce Firefox in system tray ... wait ... sometime the crash arrive (more or less 5 errors/day)

Do you have a google plugin installed in Firefox ?
Use about:plugins as URL to get a list of installed plugins.

I have the same problem, unfortunately I can't send a crash report or debug the application because it happens on my work computer and I don't have privileges to do that.

What I have found: It happens even if al addons are disabled. I had firebug installed, but I uninstalled it and the problem persisted.

Also, Firefox displays a message saying that a script in the page has been stopped because an out of memory error.

When started, firefox consumes at least 80M, when the error happens, Firefox has a total memory amount of almost 400M

This only happens if gmail is left in a background tab. And only since I upgraded to Firefox 3.5.1,

I have installed only the default plugins.

I'll try to get more information about this.

Oh, and I forgot something that can be important. 

In our company we have gmail's chat disabled. This has happened a few weeks ago, at about the same time, the problem started to show up.

Gmail is continuosly trying to reach the chat's servers. But it cant reach it. After an hour or two, the problem may appear.
