I open Facebook, navigate around, and suddenly go to a page with only top and bottom bars.   Back doesn't do anything, and neither does refresh... I have to close the tab and/or browser to fix the problem.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to facebook
2. Click on links
3. wait for white page to show up.

Does this still occur with Firefox 3.5 or later in firefox Safe Mode?

It hasn't done it in a couple weeks ... but why would a person use Fx in "Safemode" which disables the features?
Well, resolving if it does not happen anymore. Safemode does not disable all features, it only turns of extensions so that we can see if they are causing the problem. It is a diagnostic mode, not a permanent thing.
