492057 - Nightly update 20090508 does not install, crashees on trial and crash reporter unable to restart firefox

After downloading nightly update 20090508 and suposedly installed, firefox crashes and only shows the window of crash reporter and is unable to restart Firefox.  The crash reporter window only disappears when telling to quite firefos and then reports that it is sending the crash report.
Trying to reopen Minefield just opens the crash reporter window.
To get operational only the reinstallation of an old  update makes it possible.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Download nightly update
2.after apparently getting installed crash happens
3.Trying to open old version 20090507 just shows the crash reporter window
Actual Results:  
No was to get Minefield started again

Expected Results:  
After installation of nightly update, firefox should restart

I can confirm this, I was having the exact same issue.  

Reinstalling the nightly build didn't fix the issue, neither did starting in safe mode with ad-ons disable. 

I ended up starting in safe mode with everything disabled to get Firefox to open. Once it successfully started I was able to open Firefox normally with all ad-ons as normal.

Do you have chrome jit enabled? If so, this is a dupe of bug 492028

Yes, it looks like it is the JIT setting I disabled them in the about config, and the browser was able to launch with the ad-ons
