User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; hi-IN; rv:1.9.1b4) Gecko/20090423 Firefox/3.5b4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; hi-IN; rv:1.9.1b4) Gecko/20090423 Firefox/3.5b4 Many applications create ogg theora videos with .ogm suffix. Please add it to the known extentions and handle it as a video. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. go to http://blip.tv/file/2093960?filename=Pravi-FreeSoftwareAndTheMatrixByAlexandreOliva772.ogm 2. 3. Actual Results: video does not play Expected Results: built in theora video support should play the video it is a simple but important fix
Extensions are irrelevant, mime type is everything. The example is served as text/html and would need to become some appropriate ogg mime type in order to work.

The link above was the html page with the video embedded. Direct link to the video is given below http://blip.tv/file/get/Pravi-FreeSoftwareAndTheMatrixByAlexandreOliva772.ogm The mime type for this video is OGM video (video/x-ogm+ogg) Please add it to the known mime types for ogg theora video.

Apparently, it is a different container format (a hack of the original ogg container). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ogg_Media I don't know how we can tackle this. I would love to see Mozilla support this container format, if only for backward compatibility, since many video editors already create videos in this format.
