We need to upgrade the php 5 cluster to php 5.2 to support some new applications.  The first step will be to update the php 5 staging box.  I'll post a list of apps running on that cluster ASAP.

May 21st we are planning to start implementing cluster segregation by splitting off all apps except bouncer, aus2, and addons. It would be nice to upgrade that cluster to PHP 5.2 at the same time. I think it is safe to say all the wordpress, mediawiki, and drupal apps are fine, but I'm not sure about the others.

What does webdev think about going through with the upgrade on the 21st?

The generic app cluster, which hosts everything besides addons, sumo, bouncer, and aus2, has been upgraded to php 5.2.

Our release schedule is something like:
This Thursday, 1.0.4 for 3.5RC1
Next Tuesday, 1.1 (screencasts)

Once QA is done with 1.1 you can switch stage over.  I'll let stephend make that call.

You guys can switch SUMO over now - tonight or Thursday would be fine.  We have a release next week.

As of last night SUMO is running on PHP 5.2. All that is left is addons, aus2, and bouncer. I'm not super concerned with moving them over, but it is possible whenever it is necessary.
