User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.9.0.10) Gecko/2009042316 Firefox/3.0.10 Build Identifier: Thunderbird 2.0.0.21 It simply doesn't work since the last Update. I've only reported this becaus another user has the "Vista" - Operating System ...(UUUUH!) Reproducible: Always Actual Results: Get the Emails by clicking on "retrieve" Expected Results: Everything's allright download emails automatically every 10 minutes
And can you get your emails when pressing the Get mail button ? If not your foirewall is probably blocking your connections.
Everything works, I can retrieve Emails by clicking the Get Mail Button, only the automatically function doesn't work anymore. This was very useful!
Can you check Tools-> Error console and copy what you see there ?
The Error report only shows a warning because of "word wrap", no explanation.
Have you disabled all extensions? (thunderbird.exe -safe-mode)

(In reply to comment #2) > Everything works, I can retrieve Emails by clicking the Get Mail Button, > only the automatically function doesn't work anymore. This was very useful! Bug 458625? See also Bug 506609. > Bug 458625 "Check for new mail at startup" has no effect without "Automatically download new messages" with pop account
Charlotte what you think about comment #6? It is a dupe of bug #458625, bug #506609 or bug #458625?
Than you for answering, but I'm working since serveral years with this program and know this very well. It was only temporarily, the bug is fixed since the last update.
