User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.10) Gecko/2009042316 Firefox/3.0.10 Build Identifier: All builds until 10.Mai 2009 After deleting the last character in a mail or moving the cursor too far down thunderbird seems to fall back to the Variable Width Font rather than using the predefined standard font (in this case Arial) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 0. Define Arial as your standard font 1. Open a mail with a predefined signature 2. Move cursor to the end of the mail (with signature) or delete last char. 3. Now your back to TimesNewRoman Expected Results: TB should stick with whatever my predefined standard font is when in doubt.

I have the same problem, and I like that this bug will be fixed for thunderbird 3.0
