User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.0.4) Gecko/2008112016 Firefox/3.0.4 Flock/2.0.2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.0.4) Gecko/2008112016 Firefox/3.0.4 Flock/2.0.2 I am using FireFox version 3.0.10 on Vista Home Premium operating system. I start FireFox and it runs normally, but when I close (exit) the program it stays in memory and can not be removed using windows task manager. The only thing that I can do is reboot windows to remove FireFox from memory. Starting FireFox again then I am back with the issue of FireFox staying in memory even after exiting the program normally. Reproducible: Always Expected Results: Program should have closed and removed itself from memory.
So, a firefox process is still there? Does it ever leave, or does it stay forever? How about when you start firefox in safe mode? http://support.mozilla.com/kb/safe+Mode
Better with beta and safe mode? http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-beta.html without more info, and no response, this is => incomplete
