User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.10) Gecko/2009042316 Firefox/3.0.10 GTB5 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: version 2.0.0.21 (20090302) Downloaded the Arabic Dictionary (arabic_spell-checking_dictionary-2.0.20080110-fx.xpi), but when I try to install it I get the following message: "Arabic arabic_spell-checking_dictionary-2.0.20080110 could not be installed because it is not compatible with Thunderbird." Not sure what that means. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Tools > Options > Spelling > Download More Dictionaries. 2.Download teh Arabic Dictionary. 3.Tools > add-ones > Install. 4.Select the file > Install Now. Actual Results: I get the following message: "Arabic arabic_spell-checking_dictionary-2.0.20080110 could not be installed because it is not compatible with Thunderbird." Expected Results: To install the dictionary.
According to the dictionary installation page: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/3677 version 2.0.20080110 is compatible with 3.0a1pre to 3.0b2pre versions of Thunderbird not older versions. An older version is available if you use the "See All Versions" link: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addons/versions/3677 In any case, this is NOT a Thunderbird issue. You should contact the author of the dictionary direct (via their homepage, listed on https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/3677) about issues with their dictionary.
