If you go to addons.mozilla.org, search for an add-on that's Firefox only, and try to install, you'll get a notice in the Fennec window that it prevented the installation of an add-on. After you hit OK, you'll then get a native dialog popup that says something like "DOM Inspector 2.0.3 could not be installed because it is not compatible with Fennec 1.0b2pre." This dialog needs to be implemented in the Fennec UI according to mfinkle.

This bug will be fix auto-magically by bug 489423 since the prompt service is used to display the dialog: http://mxr.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/source/toolkit/mozapps/extensions/src/nsExtensionManager.js.in#766 Marking this a duplicate
