Details
Currently, MDC (dekiwiki) uses only one database server, which is the read/write master. For performance reasons, splitting the load between read/write and read-only will help a lot. Sheppy, can you get a bug filed upstream for this and make it a top priority for their next big point release?

MediaWiki already supports this, so they could use MediaWiki's model if they need to. Needs to support multiple slaves with different weights.

That's what load balancers are for. We already have all of our slave pools behind load-balancing IP addresses anyway.

We have migrated to a new wiki platform (codenamed Kuma). This may have been fixed when we switched over. If not, please reopen.
