Hi, you description is cryptic. Could you give us the version of thunderbird that exhibits your problem ? ok so you are having issue with attachments : is it when you send or when you receive ? do you use pop or imap ? the delay is probably not due to thunderbird.
The version of thunderbird is 184.108.40.206 I am having the issues with attachments, when I receive the mails. I am using pop The delay is in thunderbird and there is no delay with outlook. It takes long time for me to open the mail.

Every mail, I open that is taking lots of time to open. The mail with attachments will not be visible when I click the attachments link, this will be mainly related to zip files.
Ok do you have an anti-virus running that scans emails ?

Thunderbird never adds any "do not open this image or a video...." message so either the sending server or receiving server is adding it. Try sending yourself an email with attachments...
