Just filed as a TODO for Ben T.
Should go into ipc/chromium/third_party/libevent.
See bug 494025 for the Gecko Makefile.in that chromium's libevent should be using (and also the trivial patch to compile it).

I see that he has imported it. I prefer the way he set up the build, so I'm blowing away my changes and juggling my repo to agree with his.
