I have two Philips DVD players: model DVP5992/37 and model DVP3040/37.
On site www.philips.com/support I was in the support section trying to download software /
firmware updates. Files
DVP5992_37_FUS_AEN.ZIP and
DVP3040_37_FUS_AEN.ZIP.
When I clicked "I accept" to the EULA, I could not save the file. When I clicked to "unzip the
file to" Firefox abended.
This happened each time I tried.

Which Plugins are installed ?
(open about:plugins as URL)
https://developer.mozilla.org/en/How_to_get_a_stacktrace_with_WinDbg
when you get the dialog, please attach windbg, follow the instructions in the url, and use "~* kp", attach the output from that here.

Ernie, are you still seeing this in Firefox 3.5? If you are, can you paste a crash ID from about:crashes, or get a stack trace using timeless's directions?
Summary: Abend when saving or extracting a zip file → Crash (Pure Virtual Function Call) when saving or extracting a zip file

And where did you see "unzip the file to"? Firefox does not contain that string. Maybe a Firefox extension adds that feature?
