On site www.philips.com/support I was in the support section trying to download software / firmware updates. Files DVP5992_37_FUS_AEN.ZIP and DVP3040_37_FUS_AEN.ZIP. When I clicked "I accept" to the EULA, I could not save the file. When I clicked to "unzip the file to" Firefox abended. This happened each time I tried. Ernie_Kaz@Yahoo.com 21 May 2009 at 21:00. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.See details above 2. 3. Actual Results: Problem may be in MS C++. Expected Results: Firefox hangs. PC must be restarted. https://developer.mozilla.org/en/How_to_get_a_stacktrace_with_WinDbg when you get the dialog, please attach windbg, follow the instructions in the url, and use "~* kp", attach the output from that here.
Ernie, are you still seeing this in Firefox 3.5? If you are, can you paste a crash ID from about:crashes, or get a stack trace using timeless's directions?

And where did you see "unzip the file to"? Firefox does not contain that string. Maybe a Firefox extension adds that feature?
