494401 - Highlighting does not follow static behavior on Recommended Section

In the Recommended boxed section on the new AMO frontpage, the highlight for each title does not follow the left-right button clicks. Images of the before and after effects of the behavior are attached to this bug. 


Steps to Reproduce
1. Go to the URL
2. Notice "Introduction" is highlighted in the section and then click on "Productivity"
3. Notice "Productivity" is highlighted, then click on either the left or right buttons on their respective side of the section.

Actual Results
The respective title of the pane is not highlighted.

Expected Results
Each title should be highlighted.

The highlighting occurs only while the focus is on one of these items. It indicates what you were clicking, not where the slider is. The arrow is the indicator for the slider status instead.
