Went into my profile and wanted to change my email to my mozilla account email. I entered my email address and hit save. I was taken to an immediate "Profile Updated" page. Went to check in my user profile and found my old email address listed. Logged out cleared cookies, logged back in but no change. Expected results: New email address should be current email address when I hit Save. Actual results: Old email address is retained. Testing in Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:18.104.22.168) Gecko/2009042315 Firefox/3.0.10

For the record, changing passwords functionality does work.
OH! I just discovered that there is an email confirmation involved in the process. I think it would be ideal to mention that an email was sent out

Yeah, that seems to work well. I am wondering why we have two notification elements instead of just one, but it looks good.

I know I completely missed the lower message. I am wondering if it's a visual perception thing, I saw the big "Profile Updated" icon and stopped reading there. Perhaps combine the two?
