Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.10) Gecko/2009042316 Firefox/3.0.10
When the Firefox window is resized skinny enough (horizontally), the buttons, especially on "Cropping" page and with end menu button on "Buttons" page, do still display text/arrow on padding of page outside the button area.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Visit URL
2. Resize window down to less than width of the buttons put together
Actual Results:
The buttons perform exactly as stated in details. The text and arrows continue to be painted as if the button is full size when the button becomes sized down.
Expected Results:
The arrow should move over and/or disappear, and the text should be cropped.
Using default theme, no special add-ons, no irregular setup, no tinkering around with the about:config screen, using stable release.

This is the screenshot of the glitch in action. Particular glitch happens on Cropping screen of the XUL test page.

Confirming for now and moving over to toolkit. That should be a widget bug.
Neil, is this already filed as a bug? I cannot believe that it wasn't seen before.

Ah alrighty. Sorry for the wasted time. I searched the heck out of it, but I guess it wasn't enough.
Thanks! :)
