To allow push-to-try for the comm-central try server (bug 494747), we'd need a top-level hg repository just like hg.mozilla.org/try created for this purpose. I am not sure if it's configured differently than other repositories (i.e. allowing multiple heads).

comm-central-try or try-comm-central? I kinda prefer the latter, as I would think it would be less confusing.

Because of the question about configuration, probably ought to let aravind handle this.

I agree, 'try-comm-central' puts the emphasis on the try part, somehow. Unless anybody disagrees, I'd go for try-comm-central. (Ideally it might be nice for it to be hg.m.o/try/mozilla-central/ and hg.m.o/try/comm-central/, but that would require moving existing stuff, so probably not a very good idea)

Doesn't that repository need to be created as a comm-central clone ?

(In reply to comment #5) > Doesn't that repository need to be created as a comm-central clone ? I can do that, but I don't see why it would need to be, as users will just push their own head to it. That's my understanding, at least. I'll be happy to re-create it as a comm-central clone, though.

$> hg push -f [...] [...] sending 18918556 bytes"... It's trying to push all changes into the repository. That will probably work, but it sure will take a while. Unless somebody knows better, I believe just cloning comm-central locally in there should be fast and the correct thing to do.

I was able to do it myself by pushing comm-central in it from a fast connection.
