There was discussion about getting prod VM images that webdev could grab and use to test things pre-production.  How hard is this to do?  How long would it take?

This is on the list of things to do, probably in a couple weeks after the web servers are all upgraded with php 5.2.

Any progress on this? We're working on Cesium (yslow automation) and having a vm to test/develop on would make deploying it much easier.

I setup a VM yesterday to get this rolling and I plan to complete this by EOD today, so you should have something tomm morning your time.

The VM image is at /home/shyam/mozilla-webdev/ on people.mozilla.com

[shyam@dm-peep01 ~]$ ls -l mozilla-webdev/
total 2043628

Please ping me or Ryan for the root password or simply boot the VM into Single User mode and change it to what you need.

This VM has the standard repos we use, RHN is disabled, so it won't contact RedHat or our proxy for updates.

I'm not seeing a mozilla-webdev folder on people anymore.  Is there somewhere else I can get the VM?

Yeah, we were running out of space on people, so this is on khan. /root/mozilla-webdev/ 

If you're unable to access that, let me know, I'll move it around on khan to a place where everyone has access.
