We've seen this a few times.  When we display a node (e.g. an aggregated RSS post) that contains broken HTML (e.g. a missing </p>), the rest of the page breaks.  Usually this is a broken footer.

^^ is a Drupal 6 module that uses the HTML Tidy package to fix these nodes.  

It's worth looking into after we do the Drupal 6 migration.
