It's hard to reproduce, but I can sometimes get it to continue to display the summary view if I'm on the first message of a collapsed thread, and I hit "*" to expand the thread.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Hit "n" to go to the first message of a collapsed thread.
2. Hit "*" to expand the thread.

Actual Results:  
The summary page continued to show, with only the first message selected.

Expected Results:  
The summary page should have changed to show the single message I was viewing.

Testing notes: hitting * expands _all_ threads, not just the current thread.  

Also, should make sure that / (collapse all threads) does the right thing as well.

Correction: it's \, and it doesn't do the right thing either.

This fixes the problem and gets us back to tb2 behavior.

Note that there are other problems w/ the selection after collapse-all and expand-all, but i've filed those as separate bugs: 495482 and 495484.
