Firefox will randomly crash (will not bring up crash agent) when I click on downloadable links. It will not always happens, but sporadically. It happens enough where it ruins the enjoyment of using Firefox 3. I can't give any more details than that. Is there a good way to provide more details? If I restart FF3 and try to download from the same web site again, it'll work fine. But the crash will not restore pages, FF3 will start with one tab in the home page.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
Click on a downloadable link.
Installed virus scanner ?
read https://developer.mozilla.org/en/How_to_get_a_stacktrace_for_a_bug_report (use windbg if the reporter doesn't come up and you already have flash10 installed and not v9 )

You could also trying to switch browser.download.manager.scanWhenDone in about:config to false.

No, I do not use virus scanner. I will turn browser.download.manager.scanWhenDone to false and see what happens. FF3 crashes when I click on the link not after download is finished though.

Does your suggestion about WinDbg apply to me? FF3 completely kills itself. There is no crash report when I restart FF3. Even "Crash Report Helper 1.1" says there is not crash log.

I already have Flash 10 installed.
