Using 64 bit version of ubuntu 9.04 firefox will crash when adobe media player is used to stream video or images. The same plugin works fine with konquerer, the ode browser.

This only seems to happen when a lot of data are flowing through the adobe flash media player. Works fine at home.physics.ucla.edu/home.php but fails when viewing beach cameras at wavewatch.com. Furthermore, as stated in the summary, the ode browser, konquerer, does not crash where firefox does.

so, we don't have a 64bit version of firefox, i'd like to suggest that you file your bug with ubuntu.

note that konqueror has a provision to run plugins out of process, at this time we do not. we do intend to add such a feature, but it's indeed a feature and we will not use your bug to track such feature work.
