Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.9.0.8) Gecko/2009032609 Firefox/3.0.8 Build Identifier: Thunderbird version 2.0.0.21 (20090302) "Subscribe" in the File menu opens the dialog for subscribing to Usenet newsgroups, regardless of what account (what type/source of messages) you're viewing at the time. Workaround to subscribe to RSS feeds is to right-click an RSS account folder in the folder-selection pane, then select Subscribe from the context menu. But this is confusing, and it's not obvious to non-programmers that it's even possible. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start TB 2. In the folder-selection pane, go to an RSS account 3. In the File menu, select "Subscribe" Actual Results: Brings up the dialog for subscribing to Usenet newsgroups. Expected Results: Should bring up the dialog for subscribing to RSS feeds. If the dev team doesn't want menu item behavior to depend on what account you're in when you do them, then the menu item in question should either be deleted or renamed to something more specific such as "Subscribe to newsgroups".
