Using "smart folders" view, if I have an account that haven't any special folders as "saved searchs" or sub-folders, him should be not show because all her folders are already displayed.

If you don't show those accounts, how do you access details about them?

I can access to account details from Inbox item (that show all inbox folders for any accounts), and similar to draft item, template item and sent item.
As show on screenshot account xxx@yahoo.it cannot be expanded because all her folders are already displayed into grouped items (inbox, etc etc).
For these reasons I thought it unnecessary, but I can be wrong.

Also, it's a little harder to actually create new folders for that account if we don't show it in the folder pane. But it's definitely a question for Bryan.

I can see how that seems a little empty and useless. I don't think we can drop the account from the view though, otherwise it would be difficult to get to account settings or create new folders (as david mentions). I'm wishfully thinking that when bug 489999 lands the account summary will be much more useful (see attachment 378744 [details]) and the account entry in the folder pane would be the only way to access it.
