+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #343903 +++
We have the same situation again which was already fixed on bug 343903. When no window is open on OS X and pressing Cmd+K or selecting "Tools > Web Search" the search bar is not focused. Instead the location bar has the focus. I tested back to Firefox 2.0.0.20 where it doesn't work either. This report came in from Litmus.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Close all windows
2. Press Cmd+K
With step 2 a new window has been opened and the focus should be inside the search box.

If this has been broken since Firefox 2, we're not going to go out of our way to take it for a 3.5.x release. We can fix it in 3.6 or later.
