i tried to activate Private browsing with the Hot Key (Ctrl + Shift + P) but instead of private browsing, battery check up for my HP notebook pops up every time. Seems like this Hot key sequence is already taken by all HP notebooks.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. I press the sequence of key as defined by firefox (Ctrl + SHIFT + P) to enable the private browsing.
Actual Results:
A window for HP Battery check up pops up everytime
Expected Results:
Private browsing should start
Notebook Make:: HP pavilion Entertainment PC
OS:: Windows Vista Home Premium Edition 64 bits
Firefox version: 3.5b99

Does Ctrl+Shift+P work in other applications, such as Microsoft Word for example?

I have a Pavilion notebook here and it does indeed a battery check :). Happens also when IE is up.

I wonder how much we can do to solve this. Moving it to Core and confirming based on Ria's confirmation.

I suspect that we can do anything. This is a global hotkey and has to be changed in the HP Battery check settings (if such an option is available) manually.
This would make this bug as invalid.
