Jay has a new design for the Campus Reps pages on Spread Firefox.  This bug will track the process of slicing that design and implementing the HTML/CSS

I'll leave this open for now, as we mentioned making a couple tweaks,

* remove the yellow pins from nav, bring back highlight effect
* IE 6?  I haven't checked it out in IE 6 yet, will do that soon.

The design has been merged into SFx.  We'll need to coordinate any design changes to make sure they are applied to the SFx code (not just the focal curve code)

I removed the yellow nav tacks in r30522

I checked out the pages in IE 6 briefly.  There only seem to be a couple issues,

Sorry, didn't see this until today.

At an earlier stage we discussed the level of support we were willing to extend to IE6 and decided to mostly allow it to fail. However, it may be possible to at least help it fail a bit more gracefully and look a bit less broken, but that's going to require some additional effort. I'm on it.

I've reworked the header in IE6 so that browser displays a regular text title instead of the fancy replaced graphics. All other browsers still get the full decorated headers. It's just not economical to attempt to replicate the complexity of these multi-layered images with 8 bit transparency, so this is a form of graceful degradation. It's not as pretty, but it's completely readable and usable.

Also note the navigation style was updated some time ago, but it doesn't look like the latest version was ever migrated over. You shouldn't need to do anything other than grab the latest images and CSS from SVN.

ah, thank you very much Craig.  I'll push any new CSS and images from focalcurve's SVN, and we should be able to close this bug.

Verified FIXED; checked it out on http://spreadfirefox.authstage.mozilla.com/campusreps in IE 6 (and the other browsers).
