User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.1b99) Gecko/20090605 Firefox/3.5b99
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.1b99) Gecko/20090605 Firefox/3.5b99

After updating firefox 3.5b4 to firefox 3.5b99, opening the help menu will show "Downloading Firefox 3.5b99..." and act like its downloading an update instead of "Check for Updates..." as it should. When you click on the "Downloading Firefox 3.5b99..." option, it will act like it is installing the software again.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Firefox 3.5b99
2. Click on "Help"
3. Click on "Downloading Firefox 3.5b99..."
4. Software update will run again
5. Click on "Restart Firefox"
6. When Firefox restarts, click on "Help" again
7. "Downloading Firefox 3.5b99..." still appears
Actual Results:
Firefox is trying to update itsself after updating to the latest beta channel version.

Expected Results:
"Check for updates..." should be displayed in the help menu as there are no newer beta versions.

I'm running this under a blank beta testing profile with no extensions or themes. I also tested it with Nautopolis 1.8.50 as well and it still occurs.

My build config is pretty standard for the beta channel:

Sounds like a glitch in the app rather than confusion about b99.
