After updating to Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.1pre) Gecko/20090613 Shredder/3.0b3pre , the way feeds item are displayed changed from being the complete "web page"/Item to only the summary.

I don't think so. Regardless if I ticked the "Show the article summary instead of loading the web page" or not in the subscription dialog and in the menu "Default Format", I see only the summary.

Well that fixed it for me - Richard could you open a new bug for your issue - giving a bit more details (feed URL, message that might be in your Tools->Error console, cc me on the bug please.)
