Steps to reproduce: 1. Using Linux installer- choose custom install and deselect all items. Actual results: xpcom and language packs are downloaded and installed but nothing can be launched Expected results: error message given that informs user nothing was selected - or- as in Win install- navigator cannot be deselected

This is by design in the Mozilla installer (NOTE: not the case in the commercial installer). The choice to leave Navigator invisible was made by Netscape marketing. The Mozilla design choice was made with the intent that users can add on just Mail, or just Chatzilla later (after a Navigator-only install).
