When closing Firefox in Windows 7 RC build 7100 and earlier builds, and opening it again within 2-3 seconds, a popup comes up notifing you that one instance of firefox is already running and maybe not responding, close firefox and try again.. 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open Firefox
2.Close it
3.And then open it again quickly
Actual Results:  
The windows came up

Expected Results:  
The browser should start up again as usual.

I am experiencing the same thing with Firefox 3.6 and Windows 7 Profession x86 final.

Found a blog post somewhere, forget the address.  Anyway, you need to create a new profile.  I did it and it takes care of the problem.  The current profile becomes corrupted and causes the problem.  Make sure you don't delete the original profile before importing things like bookmarks.  I forgot to do this and lost all my add-ons, settings, and bookmarks.  Follow the link below on haw to create a new profile.  Hope this helps.

Reporter, please retest with Firefox 3.6.12 or later in a fresh profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). Also update your plugins (flash, adobe reader, java, quicktime, silverlight, etc/) Go to the developer's website and download the latest version from there.

Ok thanks, but already switched to Chrome. Its much easier to use and not so buggy.
