Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open Firefox 2.Close it 3.And then open it again quickly Actual Results: The windows came up Expected Results: The browser should start up again as usual.
I am experiencing the same thing with Firefox 3.6 and Windows 7 Profession x86 final.

Yeah me to on retail Win7 and 3.6 firefox.
Found a blog post somewhere, forget the address. Anyway, you need to create a new profile. I did it and it takes care of the problem. The current profile becomes corrupted and causes the problem. Make sure you don't delete the original profile before importing things like bookmarks. I forgot to do this and lost all my add-ons, settings, and bookmarks. Reporter, please retest with Firefox 3.6.12 or later in a fresh profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). Also update your plugins (flash, adobe reader, java, quicktime, silverlight, etc/) Go to the developer's website and download the latest version from there.

Ok thanks, but already switched to Chrome. Its much easier to use and not so buggy.
