Observed on 2000-08-18-08M18 build When both the Date and Read columns are present in the thread pane, the Date column can be resized from the right side, but not from the left side. The Status column exhibits the same behavior when it is next to the Flag column. Attaching a screen cap to make my comments more clear.

I believe this is a duplicate of another resizing bug we have.
Confirming the bug because this is clearly a problem. If there is a duplicate bug, then let's find it.

- Build 2001-04-09-04: NT4, seems ok now. - Build 2001-04-09-04:Mac 9.04, seems ok now. - Can't try linux guangyan: Do you see any improvement?
Build 20020311 on W2K has the problem now. Subject and Sender resize from right side. Date, when Status is not displayed, does not resize correctly, but drags the margins of several other columns at the same time. Resizing Label column also changes several other columns at once. Priority cannot be resized on its own.
New problem with this today (1 year later). Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312 Size of columns depends on showing headers and on some other factor. In some of the subfolders of Inbox, when I'm displaying normal message headers and there is an attachment, the tree column gets shrunk, and cannot be expanded by dragging the divider. When I attempt to drag, the columns in the messages list box jiggle left-and-right, and the displayed email message below jiggles the same way. As I drag farther to the right, the columns and the email text to the left of the double-headed arrow stop moving, while to the right everything continues to jiggle. When I choose a different folder, the display returns more or less to normal.
