The language pack for ta-LK doesn't install because install.rdf ends up with leading whitespace, causing an XML parsing error. There is mixed blame on various differing line endings in ta-LK/browser/defines.inc, and the build process not dealing with that. We should fix the line endings in ta-LK, at least. Sarves, I have a patch, or, if you want, I can just land that, too.
This is actually for ta-LK, and still valid.
Component: ta / Tamil → ta-LK / Tamil (Sri Lanka)
QA Contact: tamil.ta → tamil.ta-LK
Axel, Could you please land your patch? Sorry for the delayed respond!
We're not shipping ta-LK anywhere, mass closing. In case, we'll need to review the whole localization from scratch.
