expected: page loads

actual: Firefox can't find the server at www.%e2%9c%aadf.ws

WFM on click and copy/paste w/latest branch nightly, OSX.

ok, maybe an InstantBird problem. Also, the STR were incorrect. You need to click on the link in InstantBird message window in step 1, not copy/paste.

if i click on the link in InstantBird, the URL in the location bar is http://www.✪df.ws/dav, which causes the problem.

The first problem I see is that the getter of .innerHTML breaks the URL while encoding it.

Firefox adds "www." at the beginning of the URL when opening the second (bogus) link, I'm not sure if this is a bug too.
