When I clicked the OK box nothing happened. I haven't the slightest which component this relates to - I just picked one at random. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: See description. Actual Results: I had to stop Mozilla with the Task Manager. Expected Results: Cleared the message box.
no problems with this on 092505 mozilla win32 trunk bits on NT
Experiencing the same problem with the timeout message in a branch build of m18 created 20010130. The main browser window also halts and picks up in its background any other application that may be running at the time (e.g., see Excel spreadsheet in the window if I switch between the client and Excel).
Hmmm... not sure why this is with networking. Sending off to danm as my first guess of a possible problem with modal dialogs.
need steps to reproduce in order to keep this bug open.
qa to me, removed "qawanted keyword" status: added "by 0.9" martin, we are going to need more information about this problem... 1- What was the exact error message you received? 2- When you received the timeout, mozilla lock up right away? I think I received a similar error when using browser buster yesterday, and the error cleared w/o a problem. If this problem is not happening for you anymore, I will mark this resolved when mozilla 0.9 is released.
(qa to me should have been as "email@example.com"...)
