Howdy,
When I opt for updating firefox on my CentOS 5.2 system I get a LOT of messages on the xterm where I started firefox and then an exit 142. Log of error msgs is attached.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Drag help down
2.select update option
3.
Actual Results:
error msgs and then exit 142
Expected Results:
firfox update complete AND restart.

Howdy,
Sorry to be a pain... I'm still getting this error exit WITHOUT the error msgs now but firefox does NOT restart itself.

Reporter, are you still seeing this issue with Firefox 3.6.12 or later in safe mode? If not, please close. These links can help you in your testing.

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.12 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
