User-Agent:       Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.9.1) Gecko/20090616 Firefox/3.5

If you use one of the standard Windows XP designs (blue, green, silver) with altered font type for the "dialogue texts", for example "Verdana 9", the proxy settings window of Firefox 3.5x doesn't show the port entry fields on the right anymore.

This has worked for many years with Firefox versions previous to 3.5

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Right click on a Windows XP's desktop, menu "properties"
2. Go to register "display"
3. Press button "more / extended" on the bottom right
4. Change the font type for element "dialogue field" to Verdana 9 (instead of MS Sherif 8).

(The quoted menu entries I've translated from my localized Windows to English; they may sound similar on English Windows XP).
Actual Results:
Proxy settings dialogue window in Firefox preferences is being cut on the right: you don't see any port numbers in the port fields.

Expected Results:
You should see the port numbers, too. :-)
Version: unspecified → 3.5 Branch

As mentioned in:
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Dialog_too_small_or_too_large
... a possible workaround for this bug is to create a file "chrome\userChrome.css" inside your Firefox Profile folder.

... with these two lines:

#ConnectionsDialog {width: 73ex !important;}
#FontsDialog {width: 85ex !important;}
Severity: normal → S3
