I started my paid contract work today, which makes me a moco employee again.

My commit access is still through my non-moco account, but I'd like a moco ldap to get access to the file server among other things. Let me know if there's anything else I need to do.

This should happen automatically when your paperwork is completed for re-hiring you.  If it doesn't, see your manager.

Still don't have a moco ldap - not a big deal but it's annoying when I can't read things like the org chart. Also, it means I don't get all at mozilla dot com mail.

You should get your manager to file a new hire IT request for you via https://intranet.mozilla.org/workermgmt/.

By the way, it seems really silly that we have to go through the wkr mgmt to get him an ldap account, now there are three other bugs out there for his contract and other tracking actions that are useless.

Why wasn't the worker mgmt app used originally for him when his contract was first done? I assume his contract was done before the new contractor stuff was added, but a request should still have been filed for an account for him, no?

Yes, it was before the new contractor stuff was done.  This bug is the second request.  If it was supposed to go through the form, well, so be it, but we were trying to get the same thing done, which is simply to get his ldap account re-enabled.  

Either way, we'll be using the new form for contracts going forward.  In the meantime, we should try to cut down on the back and forth administrivia required, if at all possible.

I will add, that there was a HUGE upside to re-filling out that request form this time, but I can't say what it is in this bug, so, I'm glad I did it.  ;-)
