User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; sv-SE; rv:1.9.1pre) Gecko/20090531 Shiretoko/3.5pre (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; sv-SE; rv:1.9.1pre) Gecko/20090531 Shiretoko/3.5pre (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) I was going to use :visited in CSS to change the image depending on if you've visited a certain link or not. I found that this didn't work on my mailto: link. Of course, this is because mailto: links doesn't register in the browser history. But, then, I thought, why not? How about storing mailto: links in the history? At least having it as an option. I know several people who'd like that and would give Mozilla Firefox an advantage in front of other browsers. The only problem with this, would be bug 147777 but as said earlier, this could be resolved by simply making it an option which defaults to off. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Visit the testcase (or my homepage). 2. Visit the link and the mailto: link. 3. Both should be green, but only one is. Actual Results: The link box with a http: link turns green but the mailto: link remains red. Expected Results: They should both respond in the same way, both should become green.

Not really a docshell issue... This should be handled by whatever code is opening the helper app, just like downloaded files handled in a helper application or saved are handled. I have no idea what the right component for this is, though.

"File Handling", I think...
