We've historically not kept nightly l10n builds due to space constraints. While working on bug 496876 it was pointed out to me that we've been keeping mobile l10n builds each day. We should stop doing this, and get rid of the ones we have. For Firefox, we simply push to, eg, http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-mozilla-1.9.1-l10n and overwrite the builds every day.
Is there a reason to keep the dated dirs for mobile-l10n? The only reason that I know to keep l10n dated dirs is for the l10n nightly updates and I don't think we have it for mobile, do we?
Whiteboard: [l10n]
Given comments in the dev meeting today, we *should* be able to getaway with keeping only the latest l10n build for each branch to conserve space on ftp. (In reply to comment #1) > Is there a reason to keep the dated dirs for mobile-l10n? The only reason that > I know to keep l10n dated dirs is for the l10n nightly updates and I don't > think we have it for mobile, do we? Armen: not wanting to derail *this* bug, but we need to figure out how to do nightly updates for l10n with out keeping dated dirs around. We should only ever need the two most recent builds/mars for updates to work.
Re-assigning to Armen since he's helping with build duty this week. He also has recent experience with enabling/disabling pushing to dated dirs.

This run succesfully on staging. Is this the expected output when uploading? "ssh -l ffxbld -i ~/.ssh/ffxbld_dsa staging-stage.build.mozilla.org mkdir -p /home/ftp/pub/firefox/nightly/latest-mobile-trunk-l10n && scp -i ~/.ssh/ffxbld_dsa fennec-*.es-AR.linux-gnueabi-arm.tar.bz2 ffxbld@staging-stage.build.mozilla.org:/home/ftp/pub/firefox/nightly/latest-mobile-trunk-l10n && ssh -l ffxbld -i ~/.ssh/ffxbld_dsa staging-stage.build.mozilla.org chmod -R 755 /home/ftp/pub/firefox/nightly/latest-mobile-trunk-l10n"

Comment on attachment 387061 [details] [diff] [review] stop uploading to dated dirs for mobile builds I didn't even realize we were uploading to tinderbox-builds, too. Thanks for turning that off as well.
