User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.1) Gecko/20090616 Firefox/3.5
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.1) Gecko/20090616 Firefox/3.5

After updating Firefox to the next version, the history from my previous sessions is lost entirely. Attempting to restore from last session produces the error:
[Javascript Application]
Unable to Read From File, This Is unrecoverable

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Update Firefox
2. Restart Firefox
Actual Results:
My history is wiped out, any open tabs from the previous session are not re-opened

Expected Results:
I should have been able to see my previously opened tabs return, and continue from my previous session
What errors are listed in the error console when this happens?
Can you tell me where the log is located on OS X? I forgot to check the console when I reported the bug (the first time it occurred I wasn't sure what caused it, and so didn't report it), but I'll check my log if I can find it.

Ian: From the menu bar, check Tools -> Error Console when this happens to see if there are Errors in the Errors tab.

On the Mac you can also run the Console app which you can find by typing the app name in spotlight. Console can often give helpful errors that can be copied and pasted into the bug.

This prompt isn't from Firefox but from an extension.
