User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.11) Gecko/2009060215 Firefox/3.0.11 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.11) Gecko/2009060215 Firefox/3.0.11 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) . Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. zoom the page (this one for example), twice for better effect (press ctrl-+ twice) 2. middle click the URL (http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40/struct/objects.html#h-13.7.3) 3. after the new page is loaded, switch to its tab Actual Results: The page position is above the linked anchor (how much, depends on zoom level and page length). Expected Results: Page is positioned at the anchor. focusing the URL bar and pressing ENTER will position the page correctly. I guess this related to the problem that a page that is loaded in the background (like when middle clicking on links: a new tab is created, but not brought to foreground) is zoomed only when the user switches to its tab. (can be seen that the page is displayed at original size, then immediately is redrawn at zoomed size)

To me, this isn't a duplicate of 386835. John Baker, what's your reasoning for resolving this bug as a duplicate?
