Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; de; rv:1.9.1) Gecko/20090624 Firefox/3.5 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; de; rv:1.9.1) Gecko/20090624 Firefox/3.5 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) This happens in Firefox 3.5 RC3 only. I am used to have the search toolbar aligned to the left of the bookmark toolbar. In Firefox 3 and before the browser always would use as much space required to display the bookmark toolbar and give the search bar the rest. That means that you could always see all the links on the bookmark toolbar and had a variable field for searching to the left. Now with Firefox 3.5 RC3, when you restart the browser the arrangement is lost and the search bar fills the whole browser width, whereas the bookmark toolbar is only displaying the ">>" arrow. If I right click and open the window for adjusting the layout and close it directly again, the bars are displayed as expected again; however on restart it is lost again. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Change your toolbar settings, so that the search bar is on the left, the bookmark toolbar on the right 2. Be sure that you have some links in your bookmark toolbar 3. Close all browser windows 4. Open up Firefox 5. See the described problem Actual Results: The search toolbar fills the whole browser width in Firefox 3.5 Expected Results: It should render as it did before and display the bookmark toolbar with a higher priority, resulting in it being completely expanded and the search toolbar fitting to the rest
