Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install two or more spell checker languages in Firefox. 2. At the given url, right click in a text field with text, and choose a language other than the default. As expected, the red spell checker lines change to reflect this. Actual Results: Other text fields on the same page don't have their red spell checker lines changed to reflect the change of language. However, right clicking such a text field indicates that the language has actually been changed. To really change it, one must to change it to another language first, and then back to the preferred language. Expected Results: Expected was that either the spell checking language for all text fields on a single page changes, and that the red spell checker lines reflect this, or that only the clicked text field changes language, but the other text field's right click menu's show the unchanged language. I got these results with the Dutch and English language pack installed (Dutch by default through my Firefox installation, English added via the add-on website). Dutch is the default on my Firefox.
So you are expecting the spell checker to recheck all text fields after the language has been changed and not just in the text field that the language was changed in and all future text fields?
(In reply to comment #1) > So you are expecting the spell checker to recheck all text fields after the > language has been changed and not just in the text field that the language was > changed in and all future text fields? Currently, the right click menu shows that the language has been changed, but the text is apparently not rechecked. So, yes, either that or that the right click menu shows the actual (previous) spell checking language, with no recheck of the text field.
