Build Identifier:

When I click on the link in a project to add a new discussion topic, my browser just sits there for about 30 seconds and then displays an error indicating that the connection was reset/interrupted. Clicking "try again" enough times sometimes gets the page to load.

I have noticed this intermittently for a while, but it seems worse recently.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1: I go, for example, to SpreadFirefox > Projects > My Projects > Enterprise
2: click on "Create Discussion topic"

Actual Results:
A error from the browser indicating the connection was reset/interrupted.

Expected Results:
The page with the editor box to create the new topic should appear.

If the create new topic page does appear, previewing or posting can give the same error and trying again may or may not work.
I tried this a few times, and it works for me; can you still reproduce this? If so, would you mind installing Live HTTP Headers and attached (plain text file) the output of these actions? That'll help us narrow down when the problem occurs, so we can look at the server logs; thanks!
I'm fairly sure this is related to bug 491324. It could probably be duped.

We've since moved SFx to it's own DB server. That doesn't mean the underlying problem is fixed, just that it's probably harder to reproduce now with the extra horsepower.
I've attached a list of headers I captured from around a connection reset error last night from another system. I am still seeing this problem intermittently every now and then. Currently, when I go to click on a create new discussion topic link it may take 20 or 30 seconds for the page to return and occasionally gives me a connection was reset/interrupted error. I have been playing around with it a tad and if I click the same link within 10 minutes or so of the first time then it will usually come back in just a couple of seconds.
