Last week I sent mail to security@mozilla.org regarding a security problem in Firefox which allows a background tab to gain the input focus (bug 318881). Putting aside for the moment the security implications of that flaw, the more important issue is that my mail has gone unanswered for a week. I followed the instructions found at mozilla.org/projects/security for submission of security problems to security@mozilla.org. It seems like someone should reply, even if only to acknowledge receipt.

We received your mail and it was not apparent that you expected a reply. We receive a large volume of mail to the security@mozilla.org list and we do try to respond to as much of it as possible, but occasionally we miss one. Apologies for not following up sooner. I responded to your message in bug 318881 comment 8.
